A song lost in eternity...

Second post, second poem.
This was created way back in college while I'm in a funeral doom band (Tendrils of Despair).
It was actually made into a song in which I was assigned on guitars and vocals.
Unfortunately, we lost our copy of the song [that was recorded using a tape recorder].
Today, I'm still hoping I can still re-create the mood of the song we had created.

The Flight of the Torn Raven
October 2004

From adoration, I drowned.
and moments that I have stolen.
Thorns of light, I am crowned.
unrequited feelings’ evoken.

There is always no hope,
strands of certain deception.
Tied my fate with inimical rope,
Not to be far from my tribulation.

I’m in the midst of winter,
without the comfort of my shroud.
Stripped as my body withers,
Screams of whispers as if are loud.

I almost reached the sky,
unaware of my ambitious flight.
But I’m not made to fly,
This wings I have aren’t right.

I longed for my yesterday,
Tendrils of despair devours me,
Wreaths from the flowers of May,
Knows no feelings to anybody.

The Earth had made her part,
Envious from the flight I made,
Pulled my wings to ground apart,
No place in sky, I must fade...

Trivia: there is one word on this poem that was not grammatically correct yet I chose to use it because it was one of my favorite band's name.
